Monday the 18th of November... Wonderful day and nine Sharks!

Shark Song, the local boat based whale watching boat operated by Wilfred Chivell, often visits us to show their clients some White Sharks...

On the 19th of November, we only observed two sharks... very slow day...

Chris laughs at... the girls probably!

On the 21st of November, the weather turned again, and Hyun, Polly and Shellagh departed on a tour along the Garden Route for a few days.

On the 22nd of November, Tom used his Greek origins to cook for Tracey and myself... His chicken souvlaki and greek salad were just fantastic!

On Monday the 25th of November, we were woken up by a wonderful but very windy day... Polly, Hyun and Shellagh were still on their trip in Tsitsikama...

After careful consideration, Tom and myself decided to go out... we had nine sharks today!

On Tuesday 26th of November, the sharks were lazy... probably blown away by the gale force wind... rough day!

We observed one shark on our way back swimming at the surface very close to the small harbour of Klainbaai. Interesting...

Wednesday the 27th of November... at first an absolutely wonderful day... flat sea... crystal clear water... hot... but very few sharks, and most sharks remained deep close to the bottom...

Later in the morning, the weather changed swiftly, and the wind picked up... we had to go back to shore...

Friday the 29th and Saturday the 30th were very nice days at first... the wind started to blow in the late morning... seems like there are only a few sharks around the island...

Some pictures of Geyser Rock, home to a permanent Cape Fur Seal colony... the colony is at its breeding season peak.
