The underwater photographs presented below were taken with a simple Canon SureShot A1 camera on Fuji Superia 100 film. The water clarity has been amazing during June 2003, and the following pictures have all been taken on the 27th and 28th of June 2003.

These photographs were not taken from a cage, the author simply submerged the camera by hand on the side of the boat - this blind photography technique often results in poorly framed pictures, but on the other hand, the sharks are not intimidated by a cage or a diver. Nowadays, most professional photographers use cameras mounted at the end of a pole to produce their photographs or films of White Sharks.
