The White Shark Trust Field Research Assistantship is proud to introduce you to our assistants:

Wednesday the 24th of September 2003 started early... we leaved the harbour of Kleinbaai at 05:30 in the morning, anchoring before 6 am... Tired and cold! But what a fantastic morning, seing the sun come up slowly... the sharks were shy that early in the morning though... but maybe our tired faces scared them off...
Today was just a perfect and wonderful day! Virtually no wind, clear sky, absolutely flat pond-like conditions... and 15 different White Sharks!

Southern Right Whales could be observed throughout the day just lazing around the bay.

This was a very summer-like day... soon in the morning, we were all in our shorts and t-shirts (getting burned in the sun).

FANTASTIC!

Tom Peschak and Clare Wilcox joined us on Lamnidae to enjoy the sharks and take some photographs.
