The White Shark Trust Field Research Assistantship is proud to introduce you to our assistants:

Darren John HUNNIFORD (Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, Wales), Chris MILNES (Grantham, Lincolnshire, England), Adam Nicholas SANDERSON (Ashby de-la Zouch, Leicestershire, England), Emma Louise BARKER (Beckenham, Kent, England) and Helen Clare JOHNSTON (Grassendale, Liverpool, England).

A little winter storm hit our coastline on Monday afternoon while we were still at sea. The stormy weather, rain and heavy seas lasted through Tuesday...

Wednesday the 7th of January 2004 was still a grey, fresh and windy day at sea, but we went to sea in the afternoon. Unfortunately a quite Shark day... we observed three White Sharks today... but three is much better than none!

Thursday the 8th of January 2004 started as a grey and miserable day, but turned into a splendid day, if not a bit fresh and windy... After a long and boring four hours waiting during which we had three White Sharks for a short time, we suddenly were visited by five different White Sharks within half a hour at around noon... quite amazing and interesting! Nice day overall!
