The White Shark Trust Field Research Assistantship is proud to introduce you to our assistants:

Benjamin WESTROPE (Wilmington, North Carolina, USA), Jennifer LEE (Arcadia, California, USA) and Christopher POOLE (Nottingham, England)

After seven hours anchored observing twelve different White Sharks around Dyer Island, we decided to take a drive along the shores to look for Sharks and Dolphins... We encountered a large pod of Common Dolphins just off the beach, and we followed, played and admired the Dolphins for well over an hour. We fetched Tracey in Kleinbaai before returning to the Dolphins...
Wednesday the 7th of April 2004... What an amazing and wonderful day! The Dolphins represented the cherry of the cake... The reason why we all have wet hair in the picture below, is that we all dipped our heads underwater from the back of Lamnidae to listen to the Dolphins (Ben's idea), and that was just great!
