The White Shark Trust Field Research Assistantship is proud to introduce you to our assistants:

Trey SNOW (Wilmington, North Carolina, USA), Nicolas PADE (Nivaa, Denmark), Gillian Taylor (Sutton, Surrey, England) and Kate BARLEY (Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, England).

On Wednesday the 29th of December 2004, we welcomed back Tom Peschak on board Lamnidae... Unfortunately, Nick did not join us today, as he had made other plans... We observed seven different White Sharks, and it was a good day... Probably our last day this year as some bad weather is heading our way again...
As tradition goes, Kate and Gillian got wet in the little harbour of Kleinbaai... Unfortunately, Nick was not here...

The Millenium Falcon, alias Jaws, the Lancruiser, which pulls Lamnidae usually, was broken, and Craig Spencer managed to somehow rejuvinate our truck...

On Friday the 31st of December 2004, we were invited to celebrate New Year's eve at Frank se Gat... and the party lasted well through the night! We wish everybody a Happy New Year 2005! This was also Kate and Gillian's last night in Gansbaai (well they certainly did not sleep).
